On September 24, 1983, Joyce married Daniel Shaffer in Little Brownfield, PA, and together they built a life centered on love, companionship, and shared memories. Their marriage was a lasting partnership that reflected her steady spirit and deep affection for her husband. Joyce was happiest when she was with Dan, and the two especially enjoyed going to casinos together, where they made many cherished memories over the years.
Joyce worked at Global Payments, where she was respected for her dedication and dependable nature. She approached her work with the same sincerity and care that she brought to every part of her life.
At home, Joyce found comfort in the routines and pleasures she loved most. She enjoyed spending time watching Steelers football, and she followed her team with enthusiasm and loyalty. She also loved reading, finding enjoyment and peace in a good book. These interests reflected the warmth and contentment she found in a life built around family, home, and the things that brought her joy.
Joyce is survived by her husband, Daniel Shaffer of Salem, AL; one daughter, Sherri Dolan; two grandchildren, Myles Dolan (Brittany) and Cherry Dolan; and one great-grandchild, Gavin Dolan.
