John Aaron Hawley, aged 42, passed away on July 5, 2024, in Columbus, Georgia. Born on December 1, 1981, in Tampa, Florida, John was a man of warmth and dedication, cherished by all who knew him. He was a devoted partner, loving father, beloved son, and a caring brother, whose memory will be treasured forever.
John spent his formative years in Tampa, but it was in Columbus that he made his home and heart. He shared a beautiful life with his significant other, Kari Mitchell. son, Richard Jensen Hawley and stepson, Landan Chase Perdue, who will carry on his legacy of kindness and strength. John was the proud son of Linda Roberts and was a supportive and fun-loving brother to his sister, Shannon Marie Hawley. His family circle extended to his cherished cousins, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, aunts, and uncles, all of whom will miss him. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard John Hawley.
Professionally, John was a highly skilled plumber and a valued member of the Southern Pride Plumbing team. His work was not just a job but a calling, as he took pride in providing service to his community. Outside of work, John was an avid fisherman, finding solace and joy in the tranquility of nature. His passion for fishing was more than a hobby; it was a reflection of his patience and his appreciation for life's simple pleasures.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home and Crematory in Phenix City, Alabama.
