John Henry Pitkin, III

John Henry Pitkin III, 49, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Friday, October 6, 2023. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM ET at Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints, Phenix City Ward. Interment will follow with full military honors at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery at 12:30 PM ET.

Mr. Pitkin was born February 11, 1974 to John Henry Pitkin, Jr. and the late, Linda Lou Anderson in Biddeford, Maine. He retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service and retirement went on to work as a long distance truck driver. Mr. Pitkin was a member of the Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints, Phenix City Ward. He enjoyed bowling, video games, television, and loved Disney World.

Surviving are his wife, Amrita Yvonne Hanzig; son, Gerald Warnecke; father, John Henry Pitkin, Jr.; brother, Jeffery Wayne Pitkin; many cousins, aunts, and uncles.
