Joan Bowens White, 68, of Phenix City, AL passed away on January 30, 2021 in Birmingham, Alabama.
She was born on September 26, 1952 to Alvin Franklin Jackson and Myrtle Shiver in Opp, Alabama. She loved fishing and her family.
She is survived by five children, David Bowens (Michelle), Sherry Richardson (Paul), Tonya Michelle Starnes (James), William Jeffrey Richardson (Kelli, and Jeremy Lee Richardson (Stacy); grandchildren, Kimberly Ann Richardson, Christopher Daniel Elijah Richardson (Martha), Johnathon Duayne Bowens (Sara), Joshua Eugene Bowens (Angel), Michelle Richardson, Julie Michelle Bowens (Sean), Morgan Lamar Alex, Serenity Lyrik Corley and Kaylynn Ileta Corley; great-grandchildren, Haylee Nevaeh Richardson, Daniel Elijah Richardson, Vera Mae Josilyn Goodwin, Kade Michael Luther Jett, Dalton Clyde Richardson, Krysli Raigen Goodwin, Kael Andrew Jon Brannon, Weston Luke Bowens, Elijah Brooks Bowens, Stevirae Olyvia Goodwin, Kason Peterson, Rhett Richardson and Lane Starnes; three siblings, Peggy Gray (Wendell), Jerry Franklin Jackson (Gaye Lavon Ballew) and Terry Eugene Jackson; as well as Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
She is preceded in death by one daughter, Tabitha Williams (William).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 2, 2021 from 6-8pm ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL.
Graveside service will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Memorial Park with Pastor Donnie Lumpkin officiating.
