Jimmy Wallace Parker, passed away at the age of 65 on December 21, 2025, at his home in Buena Vista, Georgia. Born on December 31, 1959, in Columbus, Georgia, Jimmy was the beloved son of the late Theo Parker and Nell Foster.
Jimmy's life was one of dedicated service. A proud Navy veteran, he served his country for 12 years as an Aviation Electronics Technician Second Class (AT2). His time in the Navy not only shaped his character but also instilled in him a sense of discipline and honor that he carried throughout his life.
Jimmy leaves behind his mother, Nell Foster, his sister, Laura Dyar, along with her husband John of Weaver AL, and Jennifer Wagner, of Columbus, GA.
In his professional life, Jimmy was respected for his keen intellect and technical abilities. His post-military career saw him apply the skills he honed as an electronics technician.
A Funeral Service with Navy Honors will be held at Weems Road Freewill Baptist on Wednesday, December 24 at 11:00AM EST, with a visitation preceding at 10:00AM. Private interment will take place at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. As we bid farewell to Jimmy Wallace Parker, we celebrate a life lived with purpose, honor, and love.
