Jimmy Ray Meacham

Jimmy Ray Meacham 73, passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Columbus Hospice House.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2018 2:00 PM EST at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery.

Jimmy was born August 24, 1945 in Elba, Alabama to the late Douglas and Myrtle Meacham, was a U.S. Army veteran, and retired master mechanic. He enjoyed sports, playing guitar and singing, fixing things, and especially his children and grandchildren.

Surviving are 2 daughters, Christy (Matt) Marchetti and Tammy (Lamar) Myrick, a son, Paul (Amber) Meacham, grandchildren, Elijah Nolan, Elizabeth Nolan, Brandy Woodall, Brooke Snell, Kristi Blake Copes, Kirsten Meacham, Mylee Meacham, Tyler Meacham, Lincoln Meacham, and Justin Myrick. great grandchildren, Jaydon Hartin, Elyn Snell, Lakyn Snell, Adelyn Snell, Lily Myrick, Thomas Myrick, and Paislee Copes. 2 sisters, Judy Guthrie and Carolyn Jinright, also, the mother of his children, Janice Holt.
