Jewell Hammond Hall, 102, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Arabella Health and Wellness in Phenix City, Alabama. Memorial services will be held Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM ET at First Baptist Church in Columbus, Georgia.

Mrs. Hall was born February 15, 1921, in Columbus, Georgia. She was a member of Girard Baptist Church and worked many years as the executive secretary at Muscogee Mills. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Collier Hall; grandson, Thomas Collier Hall; six siblings, Roy Hammond, Marvin Hammond, Guy Hammond, Inez Hammond, Lucille Youngstrom, and Lillian Hendrix.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband, especially to the Smoky Mountains. 
She was an avid reader and also enjoyed gardening and bowling. She was the oldest active registered bowler in the state of Georgia at the age of 99. She loved all sports, especially the Atlanta Braves. Her favorite teams were the ones that her son played on, especially during his years at Glenwood.
She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandsons Tommy and Reid.


Surviving are her son, Chuck Hall (Stacie); grandson, Charles Reid Hall; and two great-granddaughters, Wilkerson Reid Hall and Willow Jane Hall.
