Jerald Eugene Pierce, Sr.

Jerald Eugene Pierce, Sr., 70, of Pittsview, Alabama passed away Satuday, February 6, 2021 at his home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 12:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home with Brother Richie Ashburn officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery beginning at 1:30 PM ET with military honors. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 9, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama.

Mr. Pierce was born August 5, 1950 to the late, Johnnie Edward Pierce, Sr. and Essie Lavada Renfroe in Mobile, Alabama. He served in the United States Army and the United States Navy. He travelled playing classic rock music with his brothers, enjoyed playing guitar, singing, Alabama football and watching his granddaughters play softball. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Johnnie Pierce.

Surviving are his son, Jerald Pierce, Jr. (Megan); granddaughters, Lauren Grace Pierce and Jaleigh Hardin; brothers, Jeff Pierce, Joey Pierce, Jimmy Pierce, and Jay Pierce; sisters Janice Pierce and Judy Pierce; several cousins, nieces and nephews.
