Janelyn "Jan" Pagano, 68, of Columbus, Georgia passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at Saint Francis Emory Healthcare.

Jan was born January 25, 1952 in Blakely, Georgia to the late Robert and Janet Mann Layton. She was retired, having worked for many years for Judge John Land in Muscogee County Courts System, then with Dr. Hunter at Hughston Sports Medicine Clinic. She later moved to Florida and became assistant manager for Wal Mart in Tampa, Florida. In her leisure time Jan enjoyed golfing, watching television, and spending time with her dog.

She is survived by her sons, Jason Grimsley, and Jody (Jamie) Grimsley, 4 grandchildren, Austin Grimsley, Kyndal Grimsley, Erica Grimsley, and Justin Stanley.

A memorial service will be announced later.
