James "Jim" Pope Obituary

James "Jim" Troud Pope, 70 of Phenix City, AL, passed away at his home, Monday, June 22, 2020.

Jim was a retired teacher from The Phenix City School System, he had a Counseling business-Psychiatry,

he loved horses, especially corsage riding. He was a Troy State graduate and a graduate from Auburn University.

He is preceded in death by his wife Claire Layfield Pope. He is survived by two step sons, James Todd Caldwell and

Gordon Scott Caldwell, five grandchildren, Caelie Jo, Carmen, Chelsea, Gracie Claire and Cody; 6 great grandchildren

and a nephew Danny Marsh.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
