James Edward Sinkule, 68, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away on November 11, 2022. He was a long time resident of Russell County, Alabama.
Mr. Sinkule was born March 8, 1954 and was the son of the late Sue and Edward Sinkule. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and watching football, and more recently racing RC Cars.
James grew up on his uncle Jimmie Batcheldor’s dairy farm, and worked there for over 40 years. He recently retired from Logan Machine Works.
Mr. Sinkule is survived by his loving wife, Penny Donato Sinkule, two sons, Samuel Sinkule and Larry Sinkule; stepdaughter, Rachel Donato; stepson, Ryan Donato; grandchildren, Marlee and Beau; sisters, Catherine McVay (Ted), Lolly Steiner (Bob), and Barbara Gunter (Eric); and brothers, Paul Sinkule (Denise) and Thomas J. Sinkule. He also leaves sister-in-laws; Wanda Sinkule, Christine Ingram, Carla Palmer, brother-in-law; Loren Palmer. Many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, and greats and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his brothers, David C. Sinkule, Peter D. Sinkule, and Joseph H. Sinkule, and his maternal grandmother, Catherine Holbert Batcheldor whom he adored. A celebration of life ceremony will be held for family and will be announced at a later date.
