James Caroll Head

Mr. James Caroll Head, 58, of Opelika, Alabama passed away Saturday, June 12, 2022 at his home.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Colonial Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 am ET with his uncle, Brother Donnie Head officiating.

James was born September 12, 1963 at Cobb Memorial Hospital in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Robert Caroll Head and Florence Elizabeth Kidd Head. He worked for many years having his own paint contracting company, and manager at Koch's chicken plant in Collinsville, Alabama. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, barbecuing, and spending time with his grand babies. James will be remembered for loving and always putting his family first.

Surviving are his sons, Sean Head and Michael Head; sister, Katherine Huff; brother, Paul Head; grandchildren, Leo Head and Shiloh Head; uncle, Donnie Head; aunts, Rhonda Head, Georgia Head Jordan, and Peggy Johnson.
