James Gresham Obituary

James Robert Gresham, 91, of Smiths Station, Alabama passed away Saturday, January 1, 2022 at Piedmont Midtown in Columbus, Georgia.

Mr. Gresham was born January 21, 1930 to the late, George Robert Gresham and Thelma Grace Pope in Phenix City, Alabama. He served as a member of the United States Army and most recently worked as a diesel mechanic for Ryder. Mr. Gresham enjoyed working in the yard with his tractor, chainsaw, and gardening. He also loved fishing, camping, and riding motorcycles in his younger years.

Surviving are his daughter, Bobbie Edmunds; son, James Gresham, Jr.; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Hearn of Marietta, Georgia.
