James E. Gray, II age 44, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away peacefully at his home on October 19, 2024.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. A celebration of life will be Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 3:00 pm Est at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 4827 Lee Rd 401, Salem, Alabama with Pastor Lynn McManious officiating.
Mr. Gray was born in Columbus, Georgia to the late Charles E. Gray and Nellie Broadwater Gray. He is Pentecostal by faith. Mr. gray is preceded in death by his father, Charles E. Gray.
Survivors include his loving mother, Nellie Broadwater Gray, one brother, Dan Gray (Maggie), two sisters, Lorene Gregory and Renee Gray all of Phenix City, Alabama; two nephews, John Allen Hunt (Melissa), and Buddy Mireles; five nieces, Amanda Hunt (Justin), Gabby Gregory (J R), Angel Gray, Ashley Nadal, and Elizabeth Mireles. Great nephews, Kingston Van Meter, Kolson Van Meter, James E. Gregory, and Brandon Bowen; great nieces, Sunni Hunt, Tanner Hunt, Courtlynn VanMeter, Graylynn Van Meter, and Megan Bowen; Aunts, Cora Kite and Sherry Gray; many cousins and friends.
