James Joseph Aikens

James (Jamie) Joseph Aikens, 51, of Columbus, Georgia passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at Columbus Hospice House. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 1:30 PM ET at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, Alabama with Pastor Ed Ray officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home.

James was born November 24, 1968 to the late, James D. Aikens and Sharon Carter Anderson in Phenix City, Alabama. He worked as an auto parts salesman.

Surviving are his mother, Sharon Anderson;; two daughters, Shelby Aikens and Mary Nicole Aikens; two grandsons; sister, Amy (Jason) Mort; Grandfather, Irvin Wiggins, and many other family members and friends.

Preceded in death by his father James D. Aikens and stepfather Carl A. Anderson.
