Jackie Lee Stinson, 67, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM ET at Lakeview Memory Gardens in Phenix City, Alabama with Rev. Michael Greer officiating.
Mr. Stinson was born January 2, 1954 to Earl J. Peters and Lula Mae Hacker in Braxton County, West Virginia. He worked in textiles at Fieldcrest Mills, as well as the rock quarry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, Auburn football, and loved his poodle, Nea. Mr. Stinson is preceded in death by one son, Timmy Shaw.
Surviving are his wife, Karen Stinson; two children, Jessica Hacker and Clayton Hacker; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; parents, Lula Mae Peters and Earl J. Peters; one brother, Robert Peters (Mary); and nephew, Chad Peters.
