Jack Bogar

December 29, 1929 ~ May 1, 2020 (age 90)


Mr. John Jackson "Jack" Bogar, 90, of Seale, Alabama passed way Friday evening, May 1, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Bogar was born December 29, 1929 in Apopka, Florida to the late William J. Bogar and Margaret Pearl Browser Bogar. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II receiving a purple heart, in his younger years, he was a single engine pilot, was a truck driver for 48 years, charter member of Northside Christian Church, enjoyed camping, canoeing, and gasoline engine aircraft models. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bogar, and a daughter, Denice Wilson.

Survivors include 10 grandchildren, Chad, Christie, Lindsey, Ryan, Cody, Joshua, Jerremy, Lyssa, Caleb, and Jacob, numerous great grandchildren, a nephew, Eddie Williford, a niece, Brenda Williford, step daughters, Cheryl, Wanda, Marsha, and Cathy.
