Glenda Hall Obituary

Glenda Ellen Hall, maiden name Caldwell, passed away peacefully at home on March 23, 2026, at the age of 77. She was born on June 12, 1948, in Chickamauga to Ruth Madaris and James Caldwell.

Glenda was a woman whose life was defined by love—love for her family, and love for her Savior, Jesus Christ. She carried a quiet strength and a gentle spirit that made everyone around her feel safe, cared for, and deeply loved.

She devoted many years of her life in civil service at Fort Benning, where she worked faithfully until retirement. But her greatest work, and what she cherished most, was her family.

She is survived by her husband, Howard Hall; her children, Daniel Hall and Laura Hall; and her beloved grandchildren, Jaylen Schaaf and Jaxon Hall. Being “Mama” and “Grandma” was where her joy truly lived.

Glenda had a deep and unwavering faith in Jesus that carried her through every season of life. It wasn’t just something she believed—it was something she lived. Her kindness, her patience, and her ability to love without condition were reflections of that faith.

Those who knew her will remember the warmth she brought into a room, the comfort of her presence, and the way she made people feel like they truly mattered. She had a quiet way of holding everything together, of loving without needing recognition, and of giving more than she ever asked for in return.

Though her family’s hearts are heavy with loss, they find peace in knowing she is at home with the Lord she loved so deeply.

Her love will never leave—it will live on in the hearts of her family, in the memories she helped create, and in the quiet moments where her presence is still felt.
