George A. DeCanio Sr., 79, of Seale, Alabama died Thursday, May 14, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital.

Funeral services will be held in East Palestine, Ohio provided by Linsley-Royal Funeral Home, East Palestine, Ohio. Burial will be at Cresthaven Memorial Gardens.

Mr. DeCanio was born June 11, 1940 in New York City, New York. He retired from LTV Steel as a Mill Wright Inspector and also served in the United States Air Force. Mr. DeCanio was predeceased by his wife, Stella McCullough DeCanio, mother, Mary Semonick DeCanio and brother, Thomas DeCanio.

Mr. DeCanio is survived by his children, Catherine (Alan) Boso of Green Sea, South Carolina, Cheryl Hellandbrand of East Liverpool, Ohio, George Anthony DeCanio Jr. of Seale, Alabama Mary (Riley) Massey of Conway, South Carolina, and Helen Lalley of Seale, Alabama, brothers, Nicholas P. DeCanio of Cottonwood, Arizona and Ronald DeCanio of Maineville, Ohio.
