Faye Ann Shores Jones

Faye Ann Shores Jones, 89, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at East Alabama Medical Center. A private service will be held. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 6:00 PM ET to 8:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama.

Mrs. Jones was born March 21, 1934 to the late, Henry Carlton Shores and Minnie Lola Shores in Phenix City, Alabama. She worked at AFLAC for many years as a key punch supervisor. Mrs. Jones was a wonderful homemaker, who loved sewing, knitting, and crafts. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Wilson Jones.

Surviving are her two children, Walter Ray Jones and Donna F. Milburn; one grandchild, Delane Jones (Darlene); two great-grandchildren, Colby Jones and Jonathan Jones (Courtney); and one great-great-grandchild, Osmond Patrick Jones.
