Eren Bush Amerson

Eren Bush Amerson, 89, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 13, 2022 at 3:00 PM ET at Philadelphia Baptist Church with Pastor Clay Duck officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM ET at the Church. 

Mrs. Amerson was born May 28, 1932 to the late, William Herbert Bush and Iva Ethel Bush Stanley in Phenix City, Alabama. Mrs. Amerson and her husband owned and operated Amerson Auto Parts and Amerson Fireworks. She was a longtime member of Philadelphia Baptist Church, Mrs. Amerson always put God and her Church first. She kept up with everyone and was known for calling and checking on Church members often. She participated in Meals on Wheels, enjoyed visiting Nursing Homes and helping with recreation activities for residents. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Julius Amerson; son, Donald Julius Amerson; brother, William Herbert Bush, Jr.; sister, Ethel Kathleen Askew.

Surviving are her two sisters, Alice Sports Butler and Katie Bush Minor; numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
