She will be fondly remembered by her grandmother, Ellis Trevae Rodriguez, who played a significant role in her life. Her little sister, Randi Rodriguez-Wilson, who she labeled as “her keeper”, along with her niece, Ensleigh Wilson, nephew Randy Rodriguez-Wilson, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins, will forever cherish the memories they made with Emily. She was preceded in death by her parents, Randy Wilson, Sammy Walker, Cora Dawn Rodriguez-Wilson, who raised her with love and dedication as well as her grandfather Rumaldo Rodriguez-Rivera
Emily's early years were spent in the bi-city area, where her creative flair and passion for the arts were evident from a young age. She attended local schools, where she was an active participant in the school drama theatrical productions. Her love for the arts extended well beyond the stage, as she enjoyed dancing, karaoke, and video gaming. Emily was also an avid reader, with a particular fondness for the Harry Potter series, which she read and reread countless times.
In her personal time, Emily's artistic talents shone brightly. She was a skilled knitter, creating beautiful area rugs that were as much a testament to her patience as they were to her artistic vision. Her creativity was a source of joy not only to her but to all who were lucky enough to receive one of her handmade creations. Emily's home was a canvas for her artistry, filled with colors and designs that reflected her vibrant personality.
Emily also found solace in the companionship of her beloved dog, Chaz, a corgi terrier who was her faithful friend and confidant. Together, they enjoyed the simple pleasure of each other's company. Her love for Chaz was a reflection of her capacity for love and the joy she found in life's moments.
The family invites friends and loved ones to a funeral mass to celebrate Emily's life on Wednesday, May 21st, 2025, at 10:00 AM ET at St. Patrick Church, with Father David Hamm officiating. A wake will precede the service at 09:00 am ET at the same location.
