Elsie E. Siggers

Elsie E. Siggers, 90, of Opelika, Alabama passed away on June 11, 2023 in Opelika, Alabama.

Graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 15th, 2023 at 11:00 AM ET at Shiloh Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Johnson officiating. 

Mrs. Siggers was born on April 6, 1933 to the late Robert Eastridge and Ruby (Williams) Eastridge in Opelika, Alabama. 

She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Mrs. Siggers worked in textile for many years. In her free time she enjoyed working in her yard and flower beds. She was a avid Alabama football fan.

Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse John David Siggers; one child, Johnny Siggers; and five siblings, John Eastridge, Roy Eastridge, Russell Eastridge, Jim Eastridge, and Jean Barfield.

She is survived by three sons;  Michael Pugh, Walter Pugh, Robert Pugh (Jean); five stepchildren; David Siggers, Ray Siggers, Beverly Siggers, Marie Woods, and Debra Dillashaw; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Pugh (Lauren) and Andrea Barber (Nathanel); nine great-grandchildren; three siblings, Joseph Eastridge, Glenn Eastridge, and Lois Murphy.
