Edna "Inez" Carnley, 82, of Pittsview, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, February 07, 2024 surrounded by her family in Phenix City, Alabama.
Inez was born on April 20, 1941 to Densil Clyde Williams and Ada Elizabeth Newsome in Columbus, Georgia. She attended Jordan High School before starting her career in nursing with Hamilton House as an LPN. She then went on to work in labor and delivery at The Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia. In her free time reading was her passion with Heritage Treasures being her favorite. Inez had the pleasure of loving five generations of family members no matter how far the distance apart.
She is preceded in death by one son, Ricky Edwin Smith.
She is survived by three children, Cheryl Garnett, Marcus Geiger, and Matthew Geiger; eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
