Dorothy June (Agee) Beman

Dorothy "June" Agee Beman, 88, of Maryville, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 at Colonial Funeral Home beginning at 3:00 PM EST., with Minister Keith Trumbo of Columbus First Seventh Day Adventist Church officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 1-3 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens

Mrs. Beman was born November 19, 1930 to William Lawrence Agee, Jr. and Stella June Smith Agee in Nashville, Tennessee. She was a member of Maryville Seventh Day Adventist Church, enjoyed listening to television, Gospel music, Braves baseball, and Alabama football. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Samuel Earl Beman, Sr. and grandson, Shondell Key, daughter, Starr Beman Key.

Surviving are her children, Kathleen Wynelle Beman-Cope (Dan), Samuel Earl Beman, Jr. (Mary), June Ovdenk (David) and Susie Ellwood (Donny); grandchildren, Nathanael Starr Key, Amanda Wynelle Tyra, Andrea Elizabeth Rhodes, Ashley Marie Joiner, Allison Rae Wadkins, Samuel Earl Beman III,Samantha Lewis Malasig, Nicholas Bleu Beman, Joshua Beman, David Ovdenk, Jr., Timothy Ovdenk, Jesse Ovdenk, Dallas Ovdenk, and Precious-Miracle Ellwood; 34 great-grandchildren, 6 first cousins, and a great great granddaughter on the way.
