Dorothy Nell Hudmon

Dorothy Nell Hudmon, 88, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Canterbury Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 18, 2022 at 11:00 AM ET at Colonial Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Speer officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens.

Mrs. Hudmon was born May 28, 1934 to the late, Chilton Horne and Ruby Jenkins Horne in Russell County, Alabama. She worked in the cafeteria many years in the Phenix City School System. Mrs. Hudmon was a member of Northside Baptist Church, loved going to gospel singings, cruises, and socializing. She is preceded in death by two husbands, Hollis Daniel and Belvin Hudmon; one son, Hollis Daniel; five siblings.

Surviving are her son, Jay Daniel; daughter, Donna Bradley; six grandchildren, Misty Green, April Thompson, Holly King, Kimberly Daniel, Desmond Daniel, and Lauren Daniel; 11 great-grandchildren.
