Doris O. Yeomans

Doris O. Yeomans, 93, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Parkwood Healthcare. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 2:00pm ET with Rev. Emory Evans officiating at Colonial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service Tuesday from 1:00 to 2:00pm ET at the funeral home. A private interment will follow at Lakeview memory Gardens.

Mrs. Yeomans was born May 6, 1926 in Miami, Florida to Lafayette Fortune and Edna Chadwick. She worked as a sales clerk at Top Dollar and was a member of Living Word of Faith Fellowship Church. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Markes Yeomans; son, Leonard Lee McCard, Jr. and granddaughter, Paula McCard.

Surviving are her daughter, Muriel Copeland (Robert); 4 granddaughters, Barbara Ann Segars, Donna Duncan, Linda Greene, Rachel Myers and several great-grandchildren.
