Dora Ellen Henderson

Dora E. Henderson 87, of Phenix City, Alabama died Sunday at Piedmont Midtown Hospital.  Funeral services will be held Thursday June 22, 2023 at Colonial Funeral Home beginning at 11:00 a.m. est. with Brother Brad McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow at 4:00 p.m. ct. at Sharon Baptist Church, Pinson, AL.  Visitation will be held Wednesday from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. est. at Colonial Funeral home. 

Mrs. Henderson was born August 8, 1935 in Steele, Alabama to the late Dexter and Myrtle Clotee Hyatt.  She was a housewife and member of New Beginnings Fellowship.

Mrs. Henderson is survived by her children Debra Edwards of Section, AL. Rebecca Henderson Moss of Phenix City, AL. David Leon (Lisa) Henderson of Seale, AL. Patricia (Robert) Munson of Phenix City, AL. Brother Johnny Hyatt.  Sisters Doris Fleming, Gail Thomas, Myrtle Henley, and Susie (Danny) Cash.  Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her sisters Eulalah Davis, Clara McMurray, and Mary Jane Henson.
