Donnie Lamar Leverett

Donnie Lamar Leverett, 57, of Phenix City, AL passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Columbus Hospice House.

Donnie was born March 2, 1964 in Montgomery, AL, son of David Lamar Leverett and Barbara Heath Leverett. Donnie loved fishing, Alabama football, and spending time with his family and friends. He was a master carpenter and could build anything with skill and precision.

A memorial will be held in his honor on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL at 1:00pm ET.

Donnie is survived by his mother, Barbara Leverett; daughter, Angel Leverett (Trent Miller); son, Justin Leverett (Beth); brothers, Stacey Leverett (Evan) and Johnny Leverett (Christy); grandchildren, Summer Leverett, Kyleigh Leverett, Jace Leverett, and Jayden Miller; nephews, Braydon Leverett and Logan Leverett; and numerous cousins, friends, and acquaintances.

He is preceded in death by his father, David Lamar Leverett; son, Donnie Lamar Leverett, Jr. (DJ); and brother, Gary Leverett.

He will be greatly missed.
