Diane Nutt Savard, age 63, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 23, 2026. She was a resident of Columbus, GA.
Diane was born in 1962 in Santa Monica to the late James H. Nutt and Donna D. Nutt.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents. Diane will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her son, James Savard (Kai); her sisters, Suzanne Lundberg (David) of Birmingham and Sheila Ford (Tom) of Alpharetta; her brother, John Nutt (Cheryl) of North Carolina; and her cherished nephews- Dominick Lundberg, Zachary Lundberg, Alexander Lundberg, Justin Ford, and Andrew Ford.
Diane was also profoundly grateful for the love and support of her House of T.I.M.E. family, especially Miss Amy, whose kindness meant so much to her.
Diane graduated from the former Parkside High School in 1980. She attended Lansing Community College, where she pursued Fine Arts, and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design.
She was a fiercely devoted daughter, sister, mother, and loyal friend to many. Diane brought creativity and joy wherever she went. She loved painting and making beautiful things, whether decorating her home or designing imaginative floats for the annual Clark Lake Raft-O-Rama. She took special delight in caring for her many plants, especially her treasured Bird of Paradise. She was also an avid reader who could lose herself in a good book and finish it with remarkable speed.
Above all, Diane will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit, energetic personality, and resilience. Even while facing the daily challenges of COPD, she fought hard to preserve her independence and continued to find joy in life. Her strength, humor, and determination were an inspiration to those who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in kind to House of T.I.M.E. in Columbus,GA.
