Diane Harrell

Diane Harrell, 66, of Pittsview, Alabama passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at her home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 2:00 PM ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama with Pastor Brady Baird officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service Saturday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM ET at the funeral home.

Mrs. Harrell was born November 24, 1953 to Q.P. Grimes and Dorothy Tyner in Alabama. She loved fishing, dancing and animals. She enjoyed going on girls trips, was an avid bowler and softball player, but most of all she loved her family. Mrs. Harrell is preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Tyner, father, Q.P. Grimes, and brother, Robbie Grimes.

Surviving are her husband of 48 years, James Harrell, daughters, Tonya Harrell Perry, Shanna Harrell, son, Daniel Harrell, 12 grandchildren, Mikayla Smith, Tara Orr, J.T. Kilgore, Lance Smith, Wyatt Smith, Olivia Smith, Khloey Perry, Kody Harrell, Caleb Harrell, Chloe Harrell, Kaylee Harrell and Andrew Harper, 8 great-grandchildren, 4 brothers, Denny Grimes, Danny Grimes, Phil Grimes, Lonnie Grimes, and numerous extended family.
