Denisea Ann Avant

Denisea Ann Avant 62, of LaGrange, Georgia passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Wehadkee Baptist Church in LaGrange, Georgia beginning at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Nick Pilgrim officiating. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.

Denisea was born June 1, 1960 in Phenix City, Alabama to the late, Bobby and Mattie Rash. She retired as a machine operator with Swift Denim.  Her hobbies were scrap booking, going to Panama City Beach, Alabama football and sitting in the breezeway talking to her neighbors. 

She is survived by her children, Jennifer (Greg) Holloway and Dakota Rash; grandchildren, Brittany (Justin) Whitten, Mattie Holloway and Kendall Holloway; great-grandchildren, Liam Whitten and Raelyn Whitten; sister, Alesia (Steve) Smith; special friend, Jewel Morton; her beloved dog, Dixie; countless cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Avant; siblings, Sharon (Rex) Gann. Harold (Peggy) Rash and Kelvin (Betty) Rash; in-laws, Catherine Carpenter and Ben Pope.
