Debbie was born October 17th, 1957, in Beal City, Michigan. She was the first of ten children born to the late Donald and Diana Pung. Debbie is survived by her children, Don Grewe II, Dana Austin (Laura) and Darryl (Mandi) Grewe; grandchildren; Don III, Jack, Aidan, Danalyn, Dillon, Dakotah, siblings Dennis Pung, Darlene (Ed) Heimbuch, Donna Bell, Doris (Bill) Hensley, Deanna Pung, Dan (Sue) Pung, and Dottie Mueller; Debbie, was preceded in death by her parents; Donald and Diana; siblings Dean Dawn, DeeDee.
She graduated from Beal City high school Class of 1975, attended college classes in Columbus, GA for early childhood education. She worked for several elementary schools in the Columbus area retiring from Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School in Muscogee County School District in 2016. She met and married the father of her three children in Michigan, he joined the military taking her with him to many places around the world where they settled in Columbus, GA to raise their children. Her family meant the world to her, she spent much of her time with her kids and grandkids. Playing board and card games, sewing and crocheting for them and teaching them too as well. Teaching them to cook and bake. She was always a call or text away when you needed anything, advise, a kind word, or even the hard facts. She loved to laugh, joke around, she would do just about anything to make you smile. She had the biggest heart and most nurturing soul. May not know she loved her whisky (Crown Royal), Romance novels and motorcycles. Had a strong dislike for shoes, she was most comfortable bare footed. She will remain forever in our hearts.
