Debora Brown Chaney

Debora B. Chaney passed away Thursday at Emory Midtown in Atlanta, Georgia.  Graveside services will be held Monday July 26th at Fort Mitchell Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. est. Visitation will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Colonial Funeral Home. 

Debora was born October 20, 1955 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Morris Milton Brown and Flora McDowell Brown.  She was retired from Chastain Properties.  

She is survived by her husband James Chaney of Phenix City, Alabama.  Two sons Harvey (Butchie) Edwin Thomas (Kelly) of Winder, Georgia and Daniel Morris Thomas (Claire) of Columbus, Georgia.  Siblings Mike Deems (Beverly) of Cataula, Georgia.  David Brown (Sheree) of Florida.  James (Bobby) Robert Brown of Columbus, Georgia.  Cindy Ragan (Ronnie) of Cataula, Georgia.  Ricky Brown (Sheryl) of Cataula, Georgia.  Sandra Boyette (Dallas) of Smiths Station, Alabama.  Four grandchildren.  Numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother Morris (Billy) Brown II.
