Hilma Stevens Carter (Deana) 61, of Salem, AL passed away on July 16, 2021 at her home in Salem, Alabama.

Deana was born on November 3, 1959 to Hilton Stevens and Mildred (Padgett) Stevens in Columbus, Georgia.

Deana was the owner and operator of Deana's Styles and Kuts in Smith's Station, Alabama.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Harvey Keith Carter; one son, Dakota Keith Carter and his wife Nia Faith Carter, three grandchildren: Ava Marie Carter, Anderson Alexander Carter, and Clayton Keith Carter; former daughter in law Linda Kyle Carter, one brother Kenny; and five sisters Willa, Janice, Sandra, Joann, and Lisa.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hilton and Mildred (Padgett) Stevens.

She was truly a kind hearted person whom would do anything for anyone, she loved her friends and family very much and will be missed by many.
