David Kent Simpson

David Kent Simpson, 65, of Seale, Alabama passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 at his home. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 7, 2020 beginning at 1:00pm ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama with Rev. Ralph Wooten officiating. Interment will follow at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. 

Mr. Simpson was born July 31, 1954 in Tooele, Utah to Hurley David Simpson and Barbara Powell Simpson. He served as a member of the United States Air Force during Vietnam and went on to work in brickyard maintenance. He is preceded in death by his father, Hurley David Simpson.

Surviving are his wife, Roxy Simpson; sons, Daniel Kent Simpson (Samantha) and Joey Adam Simpson; daughter, Adrianna Simpson; mother, Barbara Simpson; grandchildren, David Simpson, Drake Simpson, Jackson Simpson, Maggie Simpson, Maria Gurthrie, Alexis Guthrie and Aryanna Guthrie; brothers, Craig Alan Simpson and Mark Duane Simpson; sisters, Gayle Lynn Estes and Cheryl Ann Filisko.
