David Ray Driskell June 9, 1943 - November 9, 2024 PHENIX CITY, AL

David Ray Driskell, 81, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Driskell was born June 9, 1943 in Columbus, GA and was the son of the late Douglas William Driskell and Frances Gillenwater Driskell. He was the owner of Uncle Bud’s Grocery and Seafood. Mr. Driskell was preceded in death by his Uncle Pete Carden, Aunt Betty Carden and brother-in-law, Nathan Rustin. He is survived by his loving wife Glenda Driskell, daughters Gabe Jones (Ben) of Orlando, FL and Alex Hinton (Josh), and sister Helen Rustin of Phenix City, AL; four grandchildren Elle Rohloff (Ryan), Katie Jones, Lilly Rae Hinton and Sam Hinton; two great grandchildren Roman and Esme; several cousins, nieces, nephews and many sweet friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Columbus Hospice in memory of Ray Driskell.
