David Sanford Buckner, 63, of Phenix City, AL passed away on February 23, 2020 at his home in Phenix City, Alabama. David was born on July 10, 1956 to Alfred and Bessie Estes Buckner in Phenix City, Alabama.

A Visitation will be held 6-8pm ET Friday, February 28, 2020 at Colonial Funeral Home.

David was an avid comic book collector and had a passion for superheroes. He was a loving Brother and Uncle.

He is survived by one sister, Rebecca "Becky" Bowers (Ronnie) and his Niece, Patty Bowers, and nephew Xavier Bowers.
