Dana "Scott" Norris Obituary

Dana Scott Norris of Smiths Station Alabama 6/2/64- 12/21/22
We are saddened to announce the untimely and unexpected death of our beloved brother, Dana Scott Norris. He passed 21 December 2022 at Piedmont Regional Hospital in Columbus, Georgia where he was also born the summer of 1964 on the 2 day of June to Grover and Betty Norris. He would be the fourth child of five children and the only son. Making Scott both a baby brother and a big brother.
Scott enjoyed many years as a career truck driver, most recently with Vaughn Xpress. He drove and enjoyed his time on the road, but even greater he loved returning home. There he would be welcomed by his cat children who he loved and spoiled. He gained much joy spending time outside accomplishing yard work and washing all his vehicles. Music was his greatest passion. He connected to music of all types from all decades with an immense level of appreciation and had unlimited knowledge. Only 58 years old our brother has gone to be with our Lord and Savior. He was preceded by his parents Grover and Betty Norris and nephew Wesley McArthur.
