Christopher Dean Argo, 52, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Saturday, March 23, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM ET at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, Alabama. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM ET at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
Chris was born February 12, 1972, in Columbus, Georgia. He worked as an admissions coordinator at West Central Georgia Regional Hospital. Chris graduated from Central High School in 1990, where he was captain of the football team his senior year and won the Page One Award in history. After High School, he attended Chattahoochee Valley Community College and the University of Alabama. In 1997, he coached pony league 13–14-year-olds to the baseball World Series. Chris enjoyed Alabama football and was a history buff. He is preceded in death by one sister, Stacy Hazen: grandparents, Agnes Clark, Kenneth and Mary Lou Argo.
Surviving are his parents, Carla and Dewayne Dean; brother, Chad Dean (Teresa); special aunt, Jane Argo Richards (Stan); niece, Katlin Cutts Ingram (Leighton); and nephew, Chandler Hazen; uncles, Bubba Argo, and Ray Clark; and aunt, Peggy Evans (Keith).
