Christine Self Obituary

Christine Jackson Self passed away on May 18, 2022 at a Nursing Home Facility in Opelika.

Christine was born on January 8, 1932 to parents Opal Waller Jackson and Harold Fletcher Jackson. She was a long time resident of Phenix City, and a member of Woodland Baptist Church.

Christine is survived by a sister Elizabeth Lee of Largo, FL. One daughter Liz (Brad) Bowling of Sun City, FL, one son Cliff (Candy) Smith of Fairhope, AL. Grandchildren, Patrick (Jana) Manley, Renee (Johnny) Nelson and Brandon (Toni) Bowling. Great Grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Cayleb Manley, Courtney, Braxton, Madison and River Nelson.

Christine was preceded in death by her husband Robert Lee Self, Parents Opal and Harold Jackson, one brother and one grandson, Jonathan Bradley Bowling.

Graveside services will be held Saturday May 21, 2022 at Garden Hill Cemetery in Opelika, Alabama beginning at 4:00 p.m. central time with Rev. Jonathan Pike officiating.
