Christel Rhea Combs, age 59, passed away February 16, 2023 at Saint Francis hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

A celebration of life service will be announced by the family.

Christel was born March 21, 1963 in Texas. She served her country faithfully in the United States Army, a manager at Publix Supermarket for years, and enjoyed the outside gardening, especially flowers.

She is survived by her husband, Don Combs; daughter, Laura (John) Shiverdecker; grandchildren, Laura, Faith, and Ely Shiverdecker; and brother, Jaugham.
