Charles Wesley "Bubba" Jones, age 63 of Smiths Station, Alabama passed away Saturday, August 19th, 2023 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023; 11AM ET at Grace Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Ricky Ward officiating.
Bubba was born August 12, 1960 at Cobb Memorial Hospital in Phenix City, Alabama to the late Charles Daniel Jones and Gladys Mae Dyson Jones. He was a sheet metal worker with AMCO incorporated. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, Alabama football, and spending time with his family. Bubba left many fond memories for his family to remember him, as they sincerely loved him. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Wesley McArthur.
Surviving are his sisters; Debbie Donaldson, and Shirley Garrett (Eric); and a brother; David Jones (Barbara); several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
