Cason Leigh Franco Obituary

Cason Leigh Franco, a cherished soul known for her illuminating presence and unyielding passion for life, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2024, in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia. Born on August 29, 1981, in the same loving community, Cason's journey was one marked by joy, dedication, and the profound impact she had on everyone she met.

Cason's life was a beautiful tapestry woven with love, commitment, and the simple pleasures that make life worth living. She was a beloved spouse to Franchesco Franco, with whom she shared eleven blissful years of marriage. She was blessed with three wonderful children: Jackson Pierce Ozley, Judson Lee Ozley, and Jace Franchesco Franco, who were the center of her world. Cason's spirit lives on through her family, including her devoted parents, Thomas "Tommy" Lee and Rebecca (Colwell) Ballard; her supportive brother, Brandon Ballard, and his wife, Lauren; and her cherished nephews, Brenton and Bennett Ballard. Cason's best friend, Rhonda Freeman, with whom she shared countless memories, will fondly remember the laughter and joy that defined their friendship. The love and bonds Cason forged within her family and friendships were a testament to her loving nature and her ability to make each person feel uniquely special.

Professionally, Cason was a dedicated pre-k teacher at Childcare Network, where she nurtured young minds with the same love and attention she gave her own children. Her passion for education and her innate ability to connect with her students left an indelible mark on the countless lives she touched. Colleagues and students alike will remember her as a guiding light and a source of endless encouragement.

Cason's interests were as diverse as they were heartfelt. An avid reader, she found solace and excitement in the pages of books by her favorite authors, Jonathan Sparks and Stephen King. Her spiritual journey recently led her to CityScape Church, where she found a sense of community and fulfillment. Cason expressed her love for life through dance and song, often gracing those around her with performances that were as joyful as they were spontaneous. Her husband, Franchesco, would often say to her, "Tu Eres La Mujer más bella del mundo," affirming to her, she was the most beautiful woman in the world.

Those who knew Cason will forever remember her radiant smile that truly could light up a room. It was a smile that reflected her inner beauty and the love she carried in her heart for all. Cason's passion for life and her loving nature were the words that best described her. They were the essence of her being and the legacy she leaves behind. Tu eres la mujer mas bella del mundo.
