Carrie M. Page, 84, of Smiths Station, Alabama passed away Monday, March 11, 2024 at Columbus Hospice House in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM ET at Concord Baptist Church in Salem, Alabama with Dr. Bill Bryan officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM ET at the Church. Pallbearers will include Carl Newsome, Scottie Page, Gregg Bolt, Beckham Palmer, Brian Guess, and Thomas Morgan.
Mrs. Page was born July 22, 1939 to the late, Edward Otis Henderson and Lula Henley Henderson in Wetumka, Alabama. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church. Mrs. Page worked many years as Assistant Plant Manager at Lesner Manufacturing. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Page, Jr.; identical twin sons, Bryan Page and Bruce Page (Cindy); three siblings; and life partner, Charles Holmes.
Surviving are her son, Dwayne Page; sister, Wanda Hogeland, (Robert C. Ake); daughter-in-law, Wanda Page (wife of the late, Bryan Page); grandchildren, Leann Bolt (Gregg), Scottie Page (Lasha), Matthew Page, Felicia Page, Brooke Palmer (Beckham), Angel Page; many great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and canine pet, Scrappy.
