Carol W. Grissette

Carol W. Grissette, 85, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Graveside services will be held Friday, November 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM ET at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Alabama with Rev. Mike Turner officiating.

Mrs. Grissette was born December 25, 1937 to the late, Coleman and Geneva Whatley in Arlington, Georgia. She retired from Cobb Hospital in Phenix City, Alabama. In her spare time, she enjoyed going shopping. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Rufus "Alan" Grissette; three brothers, Bo Whatley, Jack Whatley, and Butch Whatley.

Surviving are her daughter, Sabrina Baker; son, Stanley Alan Grissette; sister, Debra Comer; grandchildren, Casey Baker, Shanna Kirkland, Brandon Grissette, Jessica Brindel and Jana Whetstone; and many great-grandchildren.
