Carlton "Cory" Buford Allen III

Carlton "Cory" Allen, III age 42 of Columbus, Georgia passed away Sunday October 17, 2021 at Piedmont Hospital.  Memorial Services will be held Saturday October 23, 2021 beginning at 3:00 p.m. est. time at Colonial Funeral Home Chapel.  The family ask that you wear a mask and practice social distance at the service.  

Cory was born September 13, 1979 in Columbus, Georgia to Carlton Allen II and Leurie Jean Dunn Crain.  He was employed with Indoor Solutions Inc. as a heating & air technician.  Known to always help someone in need his wishes was also to be an organ donor to help someone. Cory enjoyed being a member of Black Hats Cowboy Organization. Also being a friend to The Motorcycle Miracle Riders.

Cory is survived by his father Carlton Allen II (Soon-Young) of Seale, Alabama.  Mother Leurie Jean Dunn Crain of Columbus, Georgia.  Maternal grandfather James Andrew Childers of Ladonia, Alabama. Three brothers; Christopher Meyer of Pennsylvania, Daniel Allen of Seale, Alabama and John Allen of Seale, Alabama.  Sister Brandi B. Oreschnigg  (James) of Texas.  Cory was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Grace Ann Wynn Childers.  Paternal grandparents Carlton B. Allen Sr. and Annie Ruth Allen.
