Buddy Lee Albert

Buddy Lee Albert Jr., aged 45, of Columbus, GA, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2024. Fondly known as Buddy to his loved ones, he lived a life marked by joy, laughter, and a deep love for his family and friends. Born on December 27, 1978, in Columbus, GA, Buddy's infectious smile brightened the lives of those around him. An avid fan of wrestling and fishing, he enjoyed these activities along with watching his nephew race, sharing jokes, and cherishing moments with his family. His memory will be held dear by his sisters, Pamela Stokes (Albert Stokes) and Teresa White (Franklin Hopkins); nieces and nephews, Anne Woodham, David Burkett (Nicole Lowery), Steven Woodham (Kayleigh), Michael Woodham  (Kendall), Timothy White (Angel), and Edward Hopkins; aunt, Brenda Albert; and cousins, John Albert and Barbara Grimes and several  great nieces and nephews. Buddy is preceded in death by mother, Patricia Word; father, Buddy Albert; uncles and aunts. Buddy will be profoundly missed but remembered for the warmth and laughter he brought to every gathering.
