Brenda Carol Barksdale, 69, of Columbus, GA passed away on May 05, 2022 in Columbus, Georgia.

Brenda was born on September 25, 1952 to Carlton Floyd Barksdale and Lucille Brewer Barksdale in Cairo, Georgia.

She first and foremost loved God and the Church. She loved spending time with her son and grandchildren. She worked as a cna and also taking care of her family and home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Lee Barksdale; a sister, Melissa C. Gibson, and a brother, Ricky Carlton Floyd.

She is survived by one son, Hubert Lee Barksdale II (Jennifer); four grandchildren, Georgia Barksdale, Gabrielle Barksdale, Michael Barksdale, and Sarah Lewis; one brother, Joseph Floyd; her niece, Kim Hill, 15 nieces and nephews.
