Bonnie Lee (Basiliere) Chambers

Ms. Bonnie Lee Basiliere Chambers, 75, of Phenix City, AL passed away Wednesday June 5, 2024 at her home. 
A Memorial service will be held 5:00 pm EST Friday, June 14, 2024, at Colonial Funeral Home in Phenix City, AL.

Ms. Chambers was born June 11, 1948 in Springfield, Vermont. Daughter of the late Donaldson Basiliere and Laura Wiley Basilere.  She served the Harris County department of Family and Children services for 21 years after retiring from Dolly Madison in Columbus, GA.  Ms. Chambers had a deep love for cooking, anything John Deere, spoiling her dogs, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Ms. Bonnie was preceded in death by her two brothers, Don Basiliere (Pat) and Mike Basiliere (Jean)

Ms. Chambers is survived by a brother Dickie Basiliere (Weleeta), her two sons, Darrell Chambers of Valley, AL and Scott Chambers (Tara) of Phenix City, AL, five grandchildren Amber Chambers (Jeremy) of Opelika, AL, Lesley Drawdy (Wade) of Hamilton, GA, Dalton Chambers of Valdosta, GA, and Gracie and Wesley Chambers of Phenix City, AL as well as 2 great grandchildren Dallas Drawdy and Colby Chambers.
